Our design team shaped prototype drawings provided by Ford's design partner into a fine-tuned plan that responded to the owner's operational needs. A welcoming and modern lobby and service writer area sets the tone for a positive customer experience. Parts and utility areas are efficiently designed with no wasted space.
Service Area
An expansive 30-bay service area is outfitted with over 20 lifts, augmenting the teams efficiency and capacity. Together with our MEP partners, our integrated team finely coordinated all aspects of the shop to create a smoothly running environment. Expertly installed clinker tile is warmed by in-floor radiant heating. Spacing of work areas is optimized. And technicians benefit from abundant natural light and connection to the outdoors with a nearby tree line to the south.
Building Envelope
The building envelope is comprised of spray-foam insulated 12" split-face CMU with areas of corrugated metal panels and open-joint ACM panels. A monoslope TPO roof helps to reduce heat island effect, and the material retains its recyclability due to an induction-welded mechanical fastening system.
